Welcome to Flight Code-X
Flight Code-X lets you create and run scenarios in X-Plane 12. A scenario brings together an aircraft and starting conditions, resources such as sounds and objects, and connected nodes that define what happens during the flight.
Studio is the scenario editor. You define the scenario's resources and settings, then connect nodes on a canvas to build its flow. Nodes can perform actions, wait for events, branch on conditions, or run recurring checks.
Runtime is the Flight Code-X plugin inside X-Plane. It loads the files generated by Studio, runs the scenario, controls its simulator interactions, and writes the outputs enabled by the scenario author.

An editable `.simp` project |
Configure |
Set the aircraft, starting conditions, resources, and node connections |
An authored scenario |
Generate |
Use Studio's Generate command |
A `.simc` configuration and `.sims` script |
Run |
Load the generated scenario in Runtime |
The scenario runs inside X-Plane |
Review |
Examine enabled recordings, logs, replays, and progress reports |
A record of the run |
Keep the editable project when you want to revise the scenario. Give Runtime
the generated file pair and all referenced assets. Editing the Studio project
does not update a previously generated scenario until you generate it again.
