What is Flight Code-X?
Flight Code-X turns X-Plane 12 into a repeatable, measurable training environment by letting you build scenarios and score performance against defined tolerances (objective results + debrief/export).

Who is it for?

Flight training programs, instructors, students, and sim pilots and content creators who want deliberate practice with consistent setups measurable outcomes and automated control over the sim experience.

What do I need to run it?

You need X-Plane 12. In general, if your system can run X-Plane 12, Flight Code-X should run.

What operating systems are supported?

Installers are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

How does the product work (Studio vs Runtime)?

There are two main parts: Studio (authoring scenarios) and the runtime plugin (loads/runs scenarios inside X-Plane).

How do I install it?

Download the installer for your OS and extract/install it into your X-Plane 12 directory (Mac uses a drag-to-X-Plane install flow).

Where do my scenarios live on disk?

Scenarios are saved/loaded from Resources > plugins > FlightCodex > scenarios, with shared assets and per-scenario assets supported.

Where do I get objects to use with Flight Code-X?

A vast amount of scenery object can be found included with X-Plane look in scenery and airport. be wary of distribution licencing if you share.

Can I create my own objects?
Yes—objects can be created to work with X-Plane and Flight Code-X with tools such as meshy and  Blender (links to YouTube tutorials.

What do i need for sound files?
Sounds for Flight Code-X are in wav format tools like audacity can help edit. 

Can I share scenarios with other people / other OSes?
Yes—scenarios are cross-platform (build on one OS and run on others), and sharing typically involves the generated runtime files + assets.

What’s included in the Demo? What are the limits?

Demo allows creating scenarios and using standard nodes, but has limits like 10 nodes in the editor, 10 minutes runtime, and a 30-day demo period.

What does Early Access include and what are the usage rights?

Early Access removes node/time limits, includes free updates during Early Access + one year after, for non-commercial use.

Do you offer commercial / school / volume / offline licensing?

Yes—your pricing page points commercial/volume/offline licensing needs to “contact us.”
