Flight Code-X v0.2.3-beta: More Ways to Build the Mission

Every scenario has a moment that needs to be seen: a marker on the horizon, a
sign at the decision point, a burst of smoke as the event begins. With 15 new
object generators in Flight Code-X v0.2.3-beta, you can build those moments
directly in Studio.
This release also improves scenario connections, asset management, sound
preview, and in-sim placement tools.

15 New Ways to Build the Scene
Build simple shapes. Turn SVG art into solids. Place PNG billboards, add smoke,
and create text. Each one saves into your scenario as a real object you can
place, move, and reuse. Create it in Studio, check it in X-Plane, and keep
working without jumping to a separate modelling tool.
Use them for the visual pieces a scenario calls for: reference markers, signs,
training cues, smoke, labels, and more.

Objects That Respond to the Scenario
Objects with animation channels can now respond to scenario data. Choose
the Scenario DataRef that drives an animation, and see the object react as the
scenario changes in X-Plane.
The connection is yours to define. That makes it straightforward to review an
animated object, understand what drives it, and reuse it in another scenario.

See It Before You Fly It
Bring the scenario off the canvas and into the simulator. Jog in Sim keeps
your full object list in view while live placement details update from X-Plane.
For targets, Show in Sim draws a temporary preview for fixed and
object-following targets, so you can see the space it covers before you hit
run.
Your placed objects now appear on X-Plane's IOS map with the names you gave
them in Studio. One glance shows where visual references sit, how they relate
to an airport or route, and how the scenario takes shape in the world.

A Cleaner Start to Every Edit
Studio should meet you where you are working. Right-click the canvas or press
`Shift+A` to open the new canvas palette, with the Action, Trigger, and Pulse
types you want ready to add directly. No placeholder generic node and no extra
trip to the properties panel just to choose what it does.
Edit and layout tools live in the same palette, so cutting, arranging, and
building paths stay at your fingertips. `Shift+A` is back as a dependable
keyboard shortcut, and True, False, and Random paths can now connect directly
to the next Action, Trigger, or Signal.

Find the Right Asset Without Losing Your Place
When a scenario needs a command, object, or sound, the manager is now the place
to find it and put it to work. Search the X-Plane and Flight Code-X libraries
directly instead of digging through reference text files, add the selected asset
to the scenario, and save the ones you return to as Favorites. Scenario-local
resources stay close at hand as you build.
The new Sound Manager brings sound work into Studio. Browse WAV files, save
favorites, and listen to a clip before adding it to the scenario. It separates
the WAV files found in the scenario folder from the sounds the scenario already
uses. Playback, pause, stop, and time controls make it easy to check the right clip.

Ready for Your Next Scenario
This release gives you more ways to create visual assets, clearer resource
management, built-in audio preview, and faster ways to check work in X-Plane.
